The Listening Program® (TLP) is a music-based auditory
stimulation method that is an affordable, effective approach for
enabling individuals with a broad range of challenges and abilities to
achieve even more. (See more

The Listening Program® Level One Kit is an
option for both the beginning and experienced
listener. The listener progresses through various frequency zones,
from full spectrum, sensory integration or body zone (which emphasizes
the lower frequencies), speech and language zone (which emphasizes the
mid-level frequencies) and creative zone (which emphasizes the higher
frequencies), helping the
listener accommodate to the auditory stimulation and a gradual gentle
manner.
The
incorporation of High Definition 24-bit 192 kHz, ABTs Spatial Surround™
and Dolby Headphone
technologies provides a pure natural sound, furthering the ease of
listening and the enjoyment of the experience. The same familiar ABC
Modular Design™ is maintained, with easy to follow listening schedules.
The Level 1 Kit is
available with or without Nature Sounds.

Listening Program ® Level One on an iPod. Developed by Advanced
Brain Technologies, iListen includes the same high-quality,
psychoacoustically-based music programs that ABT listeners are
accustomed to, produced with un-compressed, copy protected audio
specifically for the iPod. iListen is available with The Listening
Program® Level One in different system configurations, each
including a library of music from the Sound Health® collection.
Because the iListen comes fully loaded, there is no need to worry about
lost or damaged CDs.

with bone conduction technology takes Music-Based Auditory Stimulation™
to the next level. It combines the experience of listening to music
through specialized headphones adding subtle vibration of the skin and
skeletal system, engaging the whole body and brain in the listening
process. This multi-sensory approach accelerates and expands the
benefits of The Listening Program. Portable and affordable, iListen
with bone conduction technology offers the convenience of home or
school based listening.
The
Bone Conduction system can also be used with the TLP Level 1 Audio CD
Kit. (See above).

 The
Listening Program® Classic Kit is
a sound stimulation auditory therapy program consisting
of eight specially developed Compact Discs (CDs) conveniently bound
together with the 9-part Instructional Guidebook and Listening
Journal. It was created prior to the Level 1 TLP program, but is
still available. Each CD contains four progressive segments that are 15
minutes each. Re-arranged, specially engineered classical music and
nature sounds comprise the listening content. The arrangements
are treated with "filtering" and "gating" at gradually increasing
levels through the course of the eight CD series. These
techniques are the basis for the therapy process. The basic
listening schedule calls for two 15-minute segments of headphone
listening per day, 5 days a week, for a period of 8-10 weeks.

can be completed at home, at school, or in the office. |

awareness, sensory defensiveness, hypersensitive hearing, and emotional
