SINGLE USER
VERSION
The system requirements
to operate the Language Tune-Up Kit are:*
The system
requirements to operate the Language Tune-Up Kit At
Home are:
- Pentium®
class (or AMD®) PC recommended with 16MB-128MB of RAM.
- CD-ROM
drive attached to the PC.
- Hard
drive attached to the PC with 25MB of available space.
- Windows®
95/98/ME, Windows NT 4.0/Windows 2000/Windows XP.
- Color
VGA monitor (SVGA or better is recommended).
- Sound
card, Microsoft® Windows compatible.
- Headphones
and microphone (connected to the sound card). Powered speakers and a
microphone will
be suitable when there are no
outside noises to distract the student.
LTK
At Home also operates on Power Mac® systems using
SoftWindows® 95 version 4.0 or later or Virtual PC®
version 3 or later. |

LTK® SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - SCHOOL VERSIONS
The
system requirements to operate the Language Tune-Up Kit For Schools
are*:
- Pentium ® class PC recommended with 16MB-32MB
of RAM. Will operate on a 486/33 or faster IBM®-compatible
personal computer with 8-16MB of RAM.
- CD-ROM drive attached to the PC.
- Hard drive attached to each PC with 2-25 MB of
available space.
- Windows ® 95/98/Me/XP, Windows NT 4.0
Workstation/Windows 2000 Professional, or Windows 3.1 or Windows for
Workgroups 3.11.
- Color VGA monitor (SVGA or better is recommended)
- Sound card
- Headphones and microphone (connected to the sound
card). Powered speakers and a microphone will be suitable when there
are no outside noises to distract the student.
- Mouse.
- Keyboard.
- The LTK For Schools Network Version operates on any
network supported by Windows.
Enterprise Network Version
- System requirements are the same as the above
versions, and
- The
LTK Student IDs must be installed from a Windows 95/98/Me/XP Student PC
attached to the network.
- Student PCs do not require an attached CD-ROM drive
- Pentium ® class PC recommended with a
minimum of 16MB of RAM. Will operate on a 486/33 or faster IBM®-compatible
personal computer with 8-16MB of RAM.
- CD-ROM drive attached to the PC. Server PC should be a
Pentium® class PC with a minimum of 32MB of RAM. Can
also operate on a 486/66 or faster IBM-compatible personal computer
with 16MB of RAM (32MB recommended with Windows 95/98/Me/XP on the
Server PC).
- Server PC should have available hard drive space of
1MB per student plus 26MB if using an attached CD-ROM drive (250MB if
CD-ROM files are copied to the Server PC for improved performance)
- Operates on any network supported by Windows.
LTK
For Schools also operates on Power Mac® systems using
SoftWindows®
95 version 4.0 or later or Virtual PC® version 3 or
later.
