State Standards Test Preparation Grade 8 prepares your child with customized
testing.
State Standards is everything you need to understand state tests and help your
child succeed all in one place! Diagnose problem areas, improve results,
and print out progress-monitoring reports. Create your own tests to target
essential mathematics, reading, and language skills. Also included is
advice to help you instruct your children, such as the Dos and Don'ts of test
taking tips, and an explanation of the No Child Left Behind act and how it has
influenced testing and state standards.

A Word to Parents about Standardized State Testing - The United States
government insists upon mandatory student testing - but gives each state the
authority to set their own standards within these subject areas. Only
State Standards addresses every state's standardized tests and offers engaging,
in-depth assessment of essential skills.

Test Three Broad Areas of Study
State Standards provides hundreds of multiple-choice questions reflecting dozens
of specific skills in each of three subjects:

Hundreds of Practice Questions Included
Studies have shown that practicing for tests with the same question types will
yield higher scores:
- Authentic Preparation: State Standards
includes the same types of questions students will encounter on
state tests.
- Hours of Practice: State Standards includes of 50 hours of practice in the
subjects required by law to be tested.
Multiple Test Styles
Diagnose problem areas and provide assistance with these two test styles:
- Complete Tests randomly select a question
